Martin-4904 and Martin-52413 appear to represent the same person because: Clear duplicates. please note that Cumberland County, Virginia was formed in 1742 out of part of Goochland County -- so the birthplace is actually the same. Find A Grave uses Cumberland Co. for place of death

Martin-38876 and Martin-4904 appear to represent the same person because: It appears that a duplicate Orson Martin, husband of Ann Forsee, son of Valentine Martin and Jane Bridgewater was created.

Hello-

Orson Martin, Senior (born abt 1730-1735) and my 5th great grandfather, was married about 1763 to Ann Forsee. His will was proved 24 Jul 1786 in Cumberland County, Virginia. Orson Senior's will lists these children: Sarah, Jane, Stephen born 9 Dec 1765 married Esther Boatright, John Martin born about 1767 married Elizabeth Boatright, Mary Martin born 1771, and Pastor Orson Martin, Jr. born 24 Jan 1776 married Elizabeth Sadler.

There is no son named Ganaway Martin. I wish I knew who the Orson (Austin?) Martin was that married Susannah Gannaway. The Orson Martin that married Susannah Gannaway may be related to my ancestors, but I find no mention of the Gannaway family in my family history found in "Valentine Martin of Cumberland County, Virginia" by John R. Martin.
