DOROTHY ANN WEAVER, 95, of Claremont, died on December 6, 1996 at Semniary Home in Red Wing, Minnesota.
Dorothy Martin was born on February 9, 1901 in Claremont Township, Dodge County, Minnesota the daughter of Edward and Ellen (Hutton) Martin. She graduated from Claremont High School in 1919. Dorothy attended Normal School in Owatonna and was a teacher in the Dodge County Schools. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Claremont and the American Legion Auxillary. She married Glenn W. Weaver on August 16, 1923 in Claremont. The couple farmed near Claremont and raised their four children. Glen died on April 26, 1976.
Dorothy is survived by one son, Garren and wife, Gwen Weaver of Hastings, Minnesota three daughters; Gloria (Mrs. Dale) Stucki of Red Wing, Sharill (Mrs. Pete) Lopez of Ventura, California; Mardell (Mrs. Lester) Naylor of Star Prairie, Wisconsin; 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Glenn and three brothers.
The memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 14, 1996 at the Claremont Presbyterian Church in Claremont with the Rev. Robert Hart officiating. Friends may call one hour before the memorial service at the church on Saturday. Cremation has taken place. Burial of the remains will be in the Claremont Street Cemetery. Blessed be her memory
