Catherine Françoise Martin was born and baptized on 19 May 1680 in Notre-Dame de Québec, Canada, Nouvelle-France. Her parents were Joachim Martin and Anne Petit. Godparents at the infant's baptism were Jacques Baroys and Françoise Denys daughter of Pierre Denys. The officiating priest was Henri de Bernières.[1]Residence was in la Canadrière which was a village on the road to Beauport, baptism was in Notre-Dame basilica of Québec city.[2]

Catherine Françoise Martin married Jean Baptiste Labourièr dit Laplante, son of Jacques Labourièr and Françoise Ferrande, on 11 Feb 1697 in Saint-Pierre, Île d'Orléans. In the presence of known witnesses Louis Martin and Pierre Chantal Lafleur. The celebrant priest was Dauric.[3]

Catherine Françoise Martin, widow of Jean Baptiste Labourlière dit Laplante, passed away on 16 Jan 1747 being given the age of around 66 years on the record. Her burial was the following day in Saint-Louis parish cemetery of Kamouraska. In the presence of known witnesses Alexandre Paradis and Jean Baptiste Paradis. The officiating priest was Auclair.[5]
