From Karen Sutton:
"I think John and Jerusha came to Cass Co.,IN in about1883/1884. I base this on a story my mother told about them coming to Fulton/Cass Co.,IN, in a covered wagon with a cow tied on behind them so they would have milk for one of the twins. Jerusha nursed one twin and the other had cow milk."
Court records.[6] state his mother died when he was 6 yrs, old. He was raised by his sister, who had a child the same age. John died at the home of his daughter.
