Joseph Vital Martin (1851 - 1916)

Joseph was born in New Brunswick in 1851 to Severe Martin and Marie-Thalesine Cyr.

Note: Many genealogy sites confuse Joseph Martin with his brother Vital. They were born four years apart. Vital married Eleanor Cyr in St Basile, Madawaska, New Brunswick, Canada in 1877, and Joseph married Emily Cyr in Minnesota in 1876 (see below).
