Career

"He was born in London and studied etching under Thomas Mackay and engraving under Joseph Bishop Pratt; he worked for Agnew & Sons; copied from the Old Masters; exhibited at the Royal Academy and Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool."

Marriage and family

Percy married Mary Waugh Jones on 20 October 1897 at Christchurch, Chelsea. Percy was an engraver, and the son of Nicholas Martindale, a merchant. Mary was the daughter of Edward Henry Jones, a minister. ^[1]

Death and burial

Percy died at his home, Selsey Cottage, Woodchester, Gloucestershire on 12 October 1943. Probate was granted to his widow Mary Waugh Martindale.^[2]
