Biography
Joseph was born to John Martindale and Mary Strickland in June of 1747. He was the first born of all the kids.
He was married two times. The first marriage was to Elizabeth Hannah Buckman and their only child was Hannah Martindale, born about 1775.
His second marriage was to Sarah Merrick. He had four children with her; Joseph, Martha, Thomas, and Isaac.[1]
Joseph died in 1830 at 83 years old.[2] He is buried with other family members in the Wrightstown Cemetery located in Bucks County, PA.
