Joseph was born in 1789. He was a son of Antonio Martinez & Paula Morrina. He was the first husband of Maria Alvarez; marrying her around 1819. They had only 2 known children: Pauline & Antoine.
Joseph died in about 1836; aged about 46 years. The cause of death was suicide by hanging.
