Hi Andries

Hi Andries, a warm welcome to WikiTree. I have integrated the merged profile of the duplicate of Kuun-11 that you have created. Later today I'll merge the duplicate profile of the spouse Putter-48 (validated) in a similar fashion. You have added an unmerged match of the already validated profile of Tessenaar-8. Please be aware that many / most of the South African genealogical lines and profiles of the eigtheenth and seventeenth periods (and earlier) have already been made. Many have also been validated with primary sources.

A few handy links to get you started:

  1. Getting Started
  2. Adding to WikiTree.
  3. What are duplicates? Why should and how can they be avoided?
  4. G2G Help - for any questions you may have ....

Perhaps you would like to join the South African Roots Project ? Besides links to sources, there help pages that are also useful.

Hi Andries,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Pre-1700 ancestors can be shared by many descendants, so collaboration is essential. You can learn about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

The German Roots Project may fit your research focus. If not, use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find other possibilities. Review the project page to learn about resources and guidelines as well as how to collaborate with the project members.

Have questions? Click my name, then ask in the comments on my profile.
