Anna Catharina Martzloff (sometimes referred to as Marzloff) was born on Apr 7, 1689 in Alsace, France. She was the daughter of Johann Marzloff (1660-1723) and Barbara LNU or Anna Katarina Schmidt. She married Moritz (Mauritius) Klein on Oct 19, 1706 in Hirschland, Bas-Rhin, Alsace, France. She died in Pennsylvania, USA in 1772 at age 83.[1]

After considering all the options and historical records, I believe the preferred spelling of her last name should be Martzloff. This would be the closest to the Alsation archaic name and what appeared in the Christening records in Alsace.
