Biography
The second son of Edmund Maskelyne Esq of Purton and Katherine Davies.
Named as a beneficiary in his father's Will, such that on attaining the age of twenty-four years he took possession of his father's tenements, lands and premisses in the parish of Wootton Bassett.
He married his cousin Anne Maskelyne and had issue.
His brother Nevil (1611-1679) was Member of Parliament for Cricklade in 1660.
