Biography

Mary Edna Mason was born 21 Aug 1890 in Georgetown, Prince Edward island. [1] She was baptised 30 Oct 1890 in St. Davids Church in Georgetown, Prince Edward island, where her father was the minister. [2] She lived with her family in Kempt, Hants, Nova Scotia.[3] By 1911, her family had settled in Edmonton, Alberta. [4]

Alexander McKinnon Herd and Mary Edna Mason were married 10 Jun 1914 in Edmonton. [5] In 1916, they were living in Mary's parents' home in Edmonton. [6] Mary had a daughter born 5 Jan 1916 who died 2 Apr 1916, just before that census was taken. [7]

Mary died in 1975 and was buried in Edmonton Municipal Cemetery. [8]
