Biography
Peyton Mason, son of John Mason and his wife Elizabeth Chappell, was born before 1760. He married Mary "Polly" Peebles on 5 October 1782 in Sussex County, Virginia.[1]
Their son Peyton married Sarah Jeffries in Petersburg, Virginia on 27 March 1815.[1]
Peyton (the father) died in Prince George County, Virginia before 25 April 1849.[1]
