Possible Relative of Peter Mason PETER MASON, who acknowledged his deed to his son JOHN MASON on 9 Sept 1737. (Caroline Co. VA Order Book 1737-1740, page 445) PETER MASON died about 1747, leaving land to JOHN MASON, his heir at law, who was summoned to court in connection with PETER MASON's last will and testament on 10 Apr 1747. (Caroline Co. VA Order Book 1746-1754, page 33).... Martin Mason, another researcher descended from the Troublesome Creek Masons, has determined with a fair degree of probability that they were descended from a German who emigrated to Fayette County Pennsylvania with the name JOHANNES MŽURER, which translates to JOHN MASON.
