Biography

Life Sketch:
Olive travelled with a theatrical stock company from about 1912 to 1914, when her acting career was cut short by Rex Parker, a waiter at the Melton Cafe in Muskogee, OK. They met on Wednesday and were married the following Saturday. Olive and Rex raised a daughter, Julia Nadine, and 2 sons, Robert Mason and Jack Eugene prior to their divorce in Tulsa in 1936. Olive's 2nd marriage was to Burdell Louden. She was a member of Hale Baptist Church, founder Guardian of Job's Daughters of Tulsa, member of Eastern Star 30 years, White Shrine Lodge 8 and Order of Amaranth, past Royal Matron Will Rogers Court No. 12, past Grand Royal Matron Order of Amaranth, Deputy Supreme Royal Matron International Order Amaranth, Ladies Association Scottish Rite of 32nd Degree Mason. Prior to her acting career, she attended business school in Ohio for W. W. Shaw Co. She was employed by Unit Rig Co. in Tulsa 18 years before retiring. NOTES FOUND IN FIND A GRAVE SOURCE
