I ( meaning Edward) give and bequeath unto my son, John Mason, and to his heirs and assigns forever, one certain lot of land, with an old house thereon, situated in Warren in the State of Rhode Island, near the burying ground, bought of the heirs of William Arnold, deceased, containing one acre, more or less, to come into the possession of it after my decease.[1]
