Biography

According to his gravestone and the 1900 census, Ernest was born in Michigan in 1872. Ernest married Emma Williams on the fourteenth of December in 1893.^[1] He passed away in 1955.

Research Notes

• census entries show both of his parents were born in New York. That, in combination with correct dates and the middle name of his son, Floyd Burdett, leads this researcher to the conclusion that the 1880 census in the sources section below is most likely the correct one, with his parents being Burdett and Clara Mason.
