Obit: Dec 27 1895, Pg 8, Pike County Democrat, Pike County Dispatch " Uncle David Mason, one of the oldest and most highly esteemed citizen of Pike Co. died Sunday night at his home southeast of this city at the venerable age of 83 yrs. Mr. Mason was one of the pioneers of Monroe twn and has been closely identified with the development of that county. He was a member of the Winslow Masonic Lodge and was buried by that fraternity yesterday afternoon. Many members of the Oakland city lodge assisting".....
