Biography

Jean Massart est un botaniste belge. Docteur en médecine et en sciences, il fut l'élève de Paul Heger.

Jean-Baptiste Massar est né le 7 mars 1865, 5 Chaussée d'Etterbeek, à Etterbeek, près de Bruxelles. Il était le fils de Charles Massar, jardinier âgé de 30 ans (né à Léau/Zoutleeuw), et de Jeanne Catherine Peeters, boutiquière, 30 ans[1].
