Hi, Phil, got your note. They are documented on the son's fichier so I would leave them. But his LNAB would be Clerc (you can change that). All the children were Clerc. I removed death as that could not be him. He was in all probability born and died in france. Also the marriage date is very suspect as it was 30 years after the son was born, I would delete that too. Let's put the French Roots template on and maybe Isabelle can help find something.

Hi, Phil (love that name, my husband and father are both named Phil). Joseph seems to be 114 years old, which would be highly unusual. His son Jean seems to be documented as born in 1665. Since there are no primary sources, do you think 1645 would be a better birth estimate - son's birth -20 years? I also can't find that death date by any name, or anyone in Portneuf from 1700-1744. Should it be better left blank? Unless you have a real source, the bio says unknown. Thanks for taking a look.
