Biography

Clark Russell Massey, son of Mordecai Massey and Susan Russell, was born on 21 June 1834 in Muncie, Delaware county, Indiana.

In 1850 Clark is recorded as being sixteen years of age and living in the Household of his mother Susan George in Union, Delaware county, Indiana. ^[1]

Clark wed Eve Haney on 20 October 1857 in Delaware county, Indiana. Clark and Eve had at least four children, all born in Muncie:

1. Edwin Richy Massey, b. 2 Aug 1858;
2. John Charles Massey, b. 2 Aug 1860;
3. James Henry Massey, b. 1862;
4. Mary Elizabeth Massey, b. May 1864.

In 1860 the Clark Massey family were living in Delaware county, Indiana. ^[2]

Clark Massey died aged thirty-one on 3 December 1865 at Muncie, and was buried at Parker-Moore Cemetery in Delaware county, Indiana. ^{[3] [4]}
