Esther Massey, daughter of Thomas Massey and Phebe Taylor , both natives of Cheshire, England, was born on "30 Eighth 1693", that is, on 30 October 1693 (New Style) in Marple township, Chester county, Pennsylvania Colony. ^[1]

Esther was wed to Lawrence Pearson on 24 March 1711. ^[2] Lawrence, son of Thomas and Margery Pearson, both natives of England, was born in 1687. Esther and Lawrence had thirteen children: Hannah, Thomas, Mordecai, Sibilla, Phoebe, Benjamin, Esther, Margery, Charity, Lydia, Elijah, Sarah, Mary.

Esther Massey Pearson and her husband Lawrence Pearson both died before 6 February 1754. ^{[3] [4]}
