NOTE: Occupation: Martha Isabel Dixon taught at Wheatley. Boarded with the Matheson Family and the next year married their son. Martha had studied at Prince of Wales College for one year prior to taking up teaching.

NOTE: Occupation: Charles Lemuel Matheson farmed at the family farm in Oyster Bed Bridge which was first settled by his grandfather, John in 1806. In the death notice it states he is survived by a sister Miss Mary S. and a brother Benjamin as well as his wife and 6 children.

NOTE: Baptism: Charles Lemuel Matheson: January 18, 1855 at Free Church of Scotland by Rev. D. MacDonald. His parents were Donald Matheson and Elizabeth Ann Hooper.
