Biography

Jean Matheson was born in Embro, Canada West of November 25, 1843. She was the daughter of Donald Matheson and Janet Nairn. She married Fitzgerald Sutherland in 1877.^[1]

At the time of the 1891 Canada Census, Fitz., Jean, Donald M., and Mary Sutherland were listed as living in Norwich.^[2]

Jean died in Norwich, Ontario on May 8, 1922, and was buried in North Embro Cemetery, Embro, Ontario.^[3]
