Biography
Isabella was born about 1817 in Pictou county. She was the daughter of William Matheson and Mary.[1]
Isabella married James Ross, a Presbyterian minister, editor and educator.[2]
Her father made his will 1 October 1855, and codicil dated 11 November 1859. Isabella was left bequeathments, and her husband the Rev. James Ross was made one of the executors. His estate entered probate 6 November 1860.[3]
In 1871, she lived at her home in Dartmouth, with her husband and daughters Lelia and Helen. [4]
Isabelle died at Dartmouth 28 October 1875, aged 58.[1]
