Word has been received here of the death of Miss Marion Matheson, daughter of Mr. John Matheson, manager of St. Ruth station. The deceased was matron of the hospital at Wentworth, New South Wales, and was here a short time ago on a holiday. She was a strong, healthy young woman, of a bright and cheery disposition, and a great favourite. Much sympathy is expressed with the parents. Her death is said to be due to eating preserved grapes, causing inflammation of the bowels.
