Biography

Jonathan was born 11 Aug 1867 in Hardin County, Ohio, the son of Joseph Mathews and Margaret Davenport. In about 1892,^[1] he married Keturah Taylor and together they had two daughters.

2. Eulalie M. (Mathews) Houghton (1906-1979)

Jonathan was a life-long physician and surgeon. Sometime between 1906 and 1910, he moved the family to Texas, first to Brazoria County, then to Houston, Harris County. He died in Houston, Texas, on 19 Jan 1941 and is buried with his wife at Forest Park Cemetery, Houston, Harris County, Texas.
