Susan was born in 1807. She married Edwin Ruthven Huggins, a lawyer, on the 23rd of February 1842 when she was nearly 35 years old. Her only child to survive childhood was her first -- Anna Matson Huggins -- who was born 13 months later. (Two infants, a son, b. 1846 and a daughter, b. 1847 died soon after birth.) Susan Ann passed away in 1870. By 1875, her husband Edwin married 2nd, as her 2nd husband, Sarah (Kinney) Barnes, a native of England. One of Sarah's sons from her first marriage was named Kinney Barnes. [1][2]
