Julie Matte was born and baptized on 30 September 1801 in Les Écureuils, daughter of Nicolas Matte and of Madeleine Peltier^[1][2]

Joseph Faucher, son of the late François Faucher and the late Marie Louise Gingras, married Julie Matte, daughter of the late Nicolas Matte and of Magdelaine Peltier, on 16 Jan 1826 in Neuville.^[3] There was notice of consanguinity.
