Helen Matteson is listed in the United States Census 1940, household of Alois Nussbacher.[1] She is listed as the daughter of the hired hand, "Mat. Davis."[2] She has a 1 year old son, "De Witt Matteson."[3]
However, Helen's marriage license lists Alois Nussbacher and Barbara Glade as her parents.[4]
