On the death notice of Wilhelm Johannes mother was indicated as Botma: subsequently a profile was created under that LNAB:
The Baptismal records index give one baptisms for a Matthee in this timeframe, with the first names Maria Magdalena
1865 give Abraham Hendrik as father but the mother was listed as Jacoba Elizabeth Rootman
