Mary was born in 1867[1] She was the daughter of Frank Matthewman and Harriet Barraclough.
She was christened 9th June 1867 in Barnsley Yorkshire, England[2]
She was living with her parents, siblings and grandparents in Barnsley, Yorkshire (West Riding), England and she was attending school in 1871[3]
She was living with her parents and siblings at Doncaster Road, Barnsley, Yorkshire,Yorkshire West Riding, England and she was still attending school in 1881[4]
