Biography
Nugent Matthews married Nancy Rutledge, November 3, 1814. It is believed they had eight children. Their known children were; Lewis, Thomas B, Amanda, Jackson, Nugent H., Lucinda, and George A. There may have been a first marriage for Nugent and possibly a son Richard Matthews .
