The only record we have of Abner is a mention in the vital records listing him with his parents, Ephraim and Lydia Matthews in 1781. In 1 spring 1782 Ephraim Matthews moves to Keene NH with his Uncle Ephraim Dorman and there married in 1782 Sarah Page. There is no other record of this Abner Matthews. And no record of what happened to Lydia Peabody Matthews.
