Biography

Mary was born on 16 March 1892, as evidenced by the 1939 England Register. She was the daughter of Thomas Matthews and Mary Lindfield. Mary was christened on 29 May 1892. The British Army WWI Service Records confirm that Mary married Jack Hewell at The Parish Church, Horsham on 26 August 1918. They became the parents of at least 2 sons (further investigation needed to determine if there were others). Mary passed away in 1957.
