Louella was born about 1900. She was the daughter of Milton Mattingly and Millie Bird. She passed away in 1972.

MRS. COULTER'S RITES AT SPRINGFIELD - Funeral services for Mrs. Lula Mattingly Coulter, related in Nelson County, were conducted at 2 P.M. Saturday, July 22, at Carey Chapel in Springfield by the Rev. Charles VanZant. Interment was in Ryder Cemetery, Lebanon. Mrs. Coulter, 86, died July 20 at Mary Immaculate Hospital in Lebanon, after an illness of one week. She was the widow of William Coulter, and daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Byrd Mattingly. Her survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mary Coulter, Bloomfield, and Mrs. Victoria Hill, Springfield; a son, Chester Coulter, of Maud; a brother, Charlie Mattingly, Cox's Creek; one sister, Mrs. Mary Brenner, Lebanon Junction; 19 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Buried, 7-22-1972, in Ryder Cemetery, Lebanon, Ky.

Her parents were Charles Milton Mattingly (1858-1924) and Millie Elizabeth Bird Mattingly (1861-1905). Siblings include William Palmer, Cecelia (Clemens), Joseph Mansfield, Etta, John, Mary Belle (Brinner), and Charles Milton.

Her children were Elizabeth, Victoria (Hill), George Frank, Dallas Raymond, Chester Speed, Ella M, Mary Pearl, and Lillian.
