He married Martha Williams. They had a large family.
They were living in Sevier county, Tennessee by 1830.[1]
He and wife Martha were living in Sevier county, Tennessee in 1850.[2]
Martha died in 1854. He was living in the household of son Valentine Mattox in 1860.[3]
William passed away in 1868.[4] He was buried in Mattox Cemetery in Wears Valley, Sevier, Tennessee.[5]
