Biography
Elizabeth Maunsell was born about 1581. [1] She was the daughter of Richard 'Maunsell of Manncell' , Somerset [2]
She is said to have died December 20, 1684 in Dorset, England.[3] There is no evidence to support this specific death date, however it is known that she was alive in December 1646 and died after that date. [4]
Elizabeth, dau. of Richard Maunsell, of Maunsell, in Somerset, married William Martin, of Parke Pale. 1590-1600[5]
Note
The Maunsells of Somerset lived at Mansel House in North Petherton. The earlier visitations of Somerset have an outline pedigree of the family but there is no Elizabeth d of Richard, noted. Elizabeth and her husband, WIlliam Martin appear in the 1623 visitation of Dorsett [6] [7]
