Biography
Phillip was born in 1797. He is the son of Philip Maurer and Anna Berkel. Phillip Maurer and Anna Maria Berkel were the parents of the following children christened at St. Jakob's church in Schifferstadt, Germany: Phillip Maurer, 27 Jan 1797; Michael Maurer, 10 Sept 1801; Catharina Elisabeth Maurer, 28 Mar 1804; Johanne Georg Maurer, 4 Jun 1805; Heinrich Maurer, 2 Oct 1794; Catharina Elisabeth Maurer, 29 Mar 1804; Georg Michael Maurer, 31 Jan 1810.[1]
