Johann Martin, Jr., married in Pennsylvania Chris tina Margaretha, a daughter of Adam and Catharine Maurer. She was born November 9, 1745, baptized December 10, 1745 at the Jordan Church, Whitehall Township and confirmed at Jerusalem Church, West ern Salisbury Township in 1760. Her father Adam Maurer is listed among the passengers of the ship LOYAL JUDITH, 32 years, on November 25, 1740, as on that date he subscribed to the "Qualifications or Oaths to the government before the governor, the Honorable George Thomas, Esq."
