Obituary

Mrs. Maggie (Maust) Schrock, aged 83 years, 5 months and 10 days, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Fogle in Brothersvalley Township, on Tuesday, December 2, 1941. Mrs. Schrock, widow of the late Hiram M. Schrock (1862-1928), was born in Somerset County on July 22, 1858, a daughter of Joseph Maust (1821-1892) and Mary Magdeline (Kimmel) Maust (1832-1916). She is survived by three sons, Joseph C. Schrock (1883-1946), Lloyd M. Schrock (1886-1948), and John F. Schrock (1899-1945), all of Meyersdale; four daughters, Mrs. Edith M. (Schrock) Livengood (1891-1965), of Pinto, Maryland, Mrs. Sadie E. (Schrock) Murray (1892-1980), of Meyersdale; Mrs. Ada M. (Schrock) Fogle (1895-1962), of Garrett; Mrs. Susan E. (Schrock) Fogle (1897-1987), Brothersvalley Township; 31 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Friday afternoon at 2:30, at the home of the deceased's daughter, Mrs. Susan E. (Schrock) Fogle wife of Charles Fogle, in Brothersvalley Township. Rev. A. J. Replogle will have charge of the service. Interment will be made in Union Cemetery under the direction of H. R. Konhaus, local mortician.
