Biography

John Kinder Mavity was born 12 September 1845 in Indiana. [1] He was the son of William Fletcher Mavity and Mary Ann Snider. He married Almira Anna Doak 27 September 1870 in Orange, Indiana. [2] [3] She passed away 22 February 1898. [4] He married Sarah A. Hancock 29 March 1904 in Orange County, Indiana. [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] He passed away 11 November 1910 in Stampers Creek Township, Orange County, Indiana. [10] He was interred in Syria Christian Church Cemetery, Syria, Orange County, Indiana. [1]
