Biography

Jeremiah Maxey, son of Jeremiah Maxey and Mourning (Haile) Maxey, was born about 1781 in Virginia. In his father's will, which was signed June 4, 1810, Jeremiah was to receive an equal part of the remainder of Jeremiah's estate.[1]

He married Tabitha McBee on 26 March 1818 at Clarke County, Georgia.[2]

He and Tabitha appeared on the census of 8 Oct. 1850 at Henry County, Georgia.[3] He and Tabitha appeared on the census of 5 July 1860 at Loftous, Butts County, Georgia.[4]

Jeremiah passed away after 5 July 1860 probably in Butts County, Georgia.
