Biography
Orrill Marie "Marie" Maxwell was born 7 May 1871 in Boulder, Boulder, Colorado, [1] to James Philip Maxwell and Francelia Orrill Smith. Charles Roland Burger and Marie married at the First Methodist Episcopal Church in Boulder and Marie used the name Marie Maxwell Burger for the rest of her life. The Burgers lived in Denver immediately following the wedding. [2][3]

Charles and Marie were married at First Methodist Episcopal church in Boulder, Boulder, Colorado, even though the state Marriage Record Report cited states that they were married in Denver. Charles was living in Denver at the time and the state record may have picked up his address as the city of the marriage.
