Nichola married Sir William Grierson (1567) on May 9, 1593 in Dumfriesshire, Scotland., giving her the Title, Dame Nichola.

Nichola was only 27 years old when she passed away in Dunscore, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. (maybe in childbirth)

Dame is a noble title/the female equivalent of the honour of knighthood in the British honours system/several other countries such as Australia and among European orders of chivalry.
