William Maxwell was a Virginia colonist.

William Maxwell was the son of Thomas Maxwell & Mary (Pemberton) Maxwell.

William was born December 22, 1775. William Maxwell married Jane Satterwhite Higginbotham. They lived in Franklin County, Georgia, United States.[1]

He passed away September 25, 1852. He was buried in Pruitt Family Cemetery, Commerce, Jackson County, Georgia, USA.[2]
