Isabella Seton (b.c.1566, d?). m. Robert Maxwell of Calderwood. They settled in Kilbride, County Armagh, Ireland.
Very Rev. Robert Maxwell is the son of Sir John Maxwell of Calderwood and Elizabeth Hamilton. He married, firstly, Susan Armstrong. He married, secondly, Isabel Seton.
He came to Ireland by express direction of King James, who promoted him to Dean of Armagh by patent dated 7 April 1610. [Rot. Pat.]. He had been appointed the first Chancellor of Connor, by the charter in 1609.
It is reported of him, that he debarred himself from further preferment from that quarter, by honorably opposing a fraudulent lease of church property, which was designed to be given to the King's favorite, the Duke of Buckingham. [Lodge.] Bishop Ussher's return or Visitation Book of 1622 describes him as then " taken with a dead palsie " in fact he died of that attack before the close of the year.

He was appointed dean of Armagh, and was ancestor of the earls of Farnham peerage of Ireland, and of the Waring-Maxwells of Finnibrogue, county Down. [1]
