Biography

William Wade Woodfork Maxwell was born August 8, 1835. He was the 10th child of Amos and Mary Maxwell.


His wife was Sarah Francis (Gentry) Maxwell who used the name "Sallie." Sallie was born December 28 (cannot decipher year)

  2. William Dee was born July 6, 1867. He married Mary Omega Allison,
  3. Mary Lucenda was born October 25, 1869. She married Ben Wilkins
  4. Dury Jane was born December 25, 1871. She married Sam Oaks.
  5. John Matthew was born April 15, 1874. He married Lizzie Clay.
  6. Nancy Iodine was born May 21, 187. He married Betty Pavo.
  7. Lee Thenia was born March 6, 1881. She died on her wedding day. 17 years old.
  8. Linton was born April 22, 1883. He married Janie McClain.
  9. Clarence Carless was born July 4, 1886. He married Katie Nunn
  10. An infant son that died at birth.

William Wade Woodfork lived to 84 years of age.
