There are 3 different dates given for Patrick's immigration: 1) 1881 [6] 2) 1882 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania[7] 3) 1884[8]

Patrick's brother, Michael, arrived in 1882.[9] His sister Catherine and half sister Sarah Lynch arrived in 1884. [10]

Family lore says that Patrick and Fannie met at the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago in 1893.[11]

The 1910 U.S. Census shows Patrick and his family living in Belpre, Ohio. The census lists the birthplaces of Patrick and his parents as Ireland. In the boxes of their birthplaces is the note "Eng" suggesting they were of English origin. The census records that he immigrated in 1881 and that he was naturalized. He was a portrait artist.[12]

Unconfirmed research on another family tree places Patrick's death on 11 Aug 1921 in Cook County, Illinois. Rather this date of death is for a "Joseph May," of no relation, who was born on 30 Jul 1921 in Illinois and who died on 11 Aug 1921 in Cook County, Illinois[13]
