Wedding Article [3]
WEDDING.
MAY—McCLELLAND.
At the Presbyterian Church, Bell, on July 14th, the marriage was celebrated of Mr. Ronald May, Q.N. Bank, Bell, only son of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. May, Warwick, to Miss Elizabeth (Bessie) McClelland, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John McClelland, of "Belmont," Bell. The Rev. Mr. Wotherspoon officiated, and the church was prettily decorated by friends of the bride. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a dainty frock of white georgette adorned with silk stitchings and pearls over an underslip of white silk and shadow lace. She also wore a handsome veil and spray of orange blossoms kindly lent by Mrs. H. G. May, aunt of the bridegroom, and carried a bouquet of white roses. The bride was attended by Miss Edna May (only sister of the bridegroom), who wore a frock of pale blue, georgette relieved with shell pink, with hat to harmonise, and carried a bouquet of pink roses. Her gold armlet was the gift of the bridegroom. Mr. Harry McClelland, cousin of the bride, acted as best man. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a handsome cabin trunk, and the bride's gift to the bridegroom a solid leather suit case. Mr. and Mrs. McClelland entertained their guests at "The Somme Cafe," where a sumptuous wedding breakfast was served, the tables being prettily decorated with white roses and ferns in tall silver vases. The handsome three-tier wedding cake was made and presented by the bridegroom's mother. The happy couple left for Toowoomba. The bride's travelling costume was of putty colored jersey cloth relieved with nigger brown, and a pretty close-fitting hat of blue.

He passed away in 1934 [4] and is buried in Warwick General Cemetery, Warwick, Queensland, Australia. [5]
